AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT
The Company Theatre will be holding in-person and online auditions for William Shakespeare’s MACBETH, directed by Philip Detrick.

Audition Dates:
Monday, November 11, 6:30pm-9:30pm
Tuesday, November 12, 6:30pm-9:30pm (callbacks)

Audition/Callback Location:
The Temple Building Theater (50 Liberty Pole Way, Rochester, NY)

To audition in-person: Please email info@thecompanytheatreroc.org to reserve an audition slot. Please bring a headshot and resume. Prepare any 1-2 minute classical monologue.

If you are unable to make auditions or callbacks, we will be accepting online submissions through Monday, November 11 at 6pm.
​
To submit online: Please prepare any 1-2 minute classical monologue. Film in landscape, chest up, and slate with your name, what piece you’re reading, and the role/roles you’re interested in. Send video along with headshot/resume to info@thecompanytheatreroc.org.

​Production Dates:
Rehearsals will begin no later than December 2nd, 2024.
Tech week will begin January 26th, 2025

Synopsis:
The noble Macbeth navigates an imperfect world while battling forces of nature, fear, and will. What does tomorrow hold, and are the decisions we make truly our own?​ Directed by The Company Theatre Board Vice President Philip Detrick, William Shakespeare’s MACBETH tells a haunting tale of ambition, power, guilt, and what drives people to do the unthinkable.
